You're Unbelievable |

Alright. I’m officially bored with school, and officially, one hundred and ten percent, sick of dragging around William to keep up appearances. Someone actually asked me on Friday if we were dating. I stared at him for a good ten minutes with my mouth open. Sometimes? It’s just not worth it.
Should I be surprised that I’ve already had a ten section test in Lit? Because it doesn’t surprise me at the least. School drags on forever and the weekend lasts all of twelve seconds. I love it.
I watched how well Ulrich balance soccer and school and things last year. It seems doable. Not easy per se but at least doable. I’m thinking of taking up gymnastics? I feel like I’m a waste of life lately and need to get out and do something. Gymnastics sounds… fun. I mean, I’m rusty. I haven’t actually done any tumbling on mats and such since last year. After Jim’s boot camp I feel extremely out of shape. I don’t know how you stuck with it Jer.
One last thing. Maybe. Ulrich? I know you’re super busy and super concentrated and such, but do you think we could do something? Spar maybe? I promise not to waste more than an hour or so of your time. We didn’t get to hang out all summer and I barely get to see you anymore. Sometime this week? Whenever; you know I have no life, it’s not like you have to coordinate my oh-so busy schedule. Let me know, Ok?
Off to avoid my parents and their bombarding questions of homecoming. Later

I can’t believe how fast this summer went! I feel like I didn’t get to do anything on my ‘list of crap to do this summer’. I just got in the night before last from the US with Aelita. It was ok. My family aren’t really my favorite people. I’m not excited to go back to school, really. It’ll be great to see everyone again and to hang out with you guys, but I’m not excited for homework and teachers and people I don’t mind not seeing over break. Schedules came in the mail yesterday, and I finally got done procrastinating around to opening it.
Schedule: Lit 10 German I Advanced Algebra History Bio II PE
Incase I need to be snuck out of a class and you need to find me. Maybe everyone from my lit class last year with have the same hour this year. That would be pretty awesome. Jer? Lita? Did either of you get an AP class with me? Maybe? That would make my day suck less. At least we’ll all have lunch together. If I can keep Hiroki out of trouble, maybe the year won’t be such a disaster. Maybe I’ll take up a sport or something. I think I’ll go watch TV or something.

Something Hiroki's listening to |

Hey guys! Miss us? Aelita and I got home Friday afternoon and crashed until Saturday afternoon. We had a blast. We left July 22nd at like six in the morning. Aelita was up at two-thirty. Crazy girl. I got up, woke Hiroki up, and packed the car. And made coffee. I love coffee. So Mom and Dad were up and chipper and Hiroki and I slept on the ride to the airport.
We got to the airport and I had to lug our crap until finally one of the baggage check guys said ‘oh! Let me get that for you!’ Thank you, what great timing you have! So then it was time for security, which is actually not to bad at ungodly hours of the morning. The best part was walking through the metal detectors. Oh, Joy. Aelita asked what it was going to do to her, and being so helpful, the security guard told her it was gonna ‘scan’ her. Dear. Lord. I literally had to shove her through, kicking and screaming, and explain that it was her first time at an airport before she was arrested.
Then there was the actual plane. Not the plane ride, just the plane. She started scientifically tearing apart the laws of physics and explaining why it wouldn’t fly. I used Jeremie as my excuse to why it was ok if she got on. Seriously, if it was going to fall out of the sky, he wouldn’t have let her get on. So we took off and she loved the clouds for a few hours and then I went to sleep.
Woke up to the announcement that we were landing and it was 7am the next day. Yes, that threw me all off. It’s worse than a return trip. So Grandpa (Mom’s Dad) picked us up from the airport and we slept until like, three in the afternoon. Aelita got to meet the fam and some old friends and it was all fine and dandy. She picked up on some the language pretty quick, which Grandma thought was the cutest thing. Of course, Aelita also had to suffer one of my family parties. Which are ridiculous and there is much alcohol consumption and embarrassing stories about, ‘One time when Yumi was three..’ I’m sure you can fill in your own blanks. Yay family, right?
We did a bunch of good stuff, I’m sure Aelita will be thrilled to share with you, so you can ask her. My family does not excite me that much to give you the play by play, but I did take some good pictures if that interests you.
Next topic: I met the most intriguing person yesterday. Charlie Stern. She was super nice. We had tea at Dreamland Café. She had a rough start with Sissi though, poor thing.
Well, I’m still extremely tired and it’s… family bonding night? The heck is that? Off to ‘bond’, I guess. Someone call me with plans.
Yumi
